Are you considering having a garden in your home or apartment? As someone who has always loved plants, I love the idea of growing my own food. While I am very practical about it (I know it won’t be much), I think it would still be fun to have my own herbs in my house. We already have fruit trees in our yard and some raspberry canes on the porch, so why not expand and have an actual garden? To help get ready for having more plants, I have been reading some starter guides to gardening that seem perfect for gardeners of all experience levels. To help refresh me on the basics though, I was excited to read a new beginners book on gardening – The Starter Garden Handbook: A Cook’s Guide to Growing Your Own Food.

This looks like another good gardening book. I think even seasoned gardeners always learn something, and although this is for beginners if you borrowed it you would get something out of it. This would make a great gift though!
