As some of you know, my husband and I both love to cook. We love experimenting with a variety of different cookbooks. The struggle, however, is sometimes finding the perfect cookbooks to give as gifts. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to food, so you have to be careful, especially if you don’t want to give the wrong message (aka low fat or healthy cookbooks). Lately, however, I have seen quite a few cookbooks that are written by, or feature characters from various TV shows. Recently, I found a cookbook that seems perfect for those who love The Modern Family TV show on ABC – The Modern Family Cookbook.

Do you love watching Modern Family? If so, we think you will love The Modern Family Cookbook. This cookbook invites you into the kitchen with your favorite characters to see their favorite recipes and commentary taken from the show with gems and memorable moments a fan is sure to love. Even if you have never seen the show, we think you will get a good laugh and enjoy many of the recipes in this yummy cookbook!
The Modern Family Cookbook: Overall
Honestly, before picking up this cookbook, I had never heard of The Modern Family. As someone who rarely turns on a television, that isn’t too shocking. What didn’t shock me though was how much I thought this cookbook was cute. It put a completely new twist on cookbooks by giving you a fun little read, while also presenting a variety of fun recipes that are perfect for every family. While there are some interesting and creative recipes, there are also tried and true classics like corn bread, banana bread, and other fun recipes picked out by characters in the show. We are certain that fans of the show will definitely love this cookbook!

This sounds great! I like the idea of having interesting new recipes but also good old ones.
I’ve heard of, but never seen the show. I’m always looking for new recipes that are fairly easy to make. We have too many with only a handful that I like.

Omgosh i love this show!! its so hilarious!! I love that it takes the personality of the characters and shares their recipes and snippets from the show!! So fun!!
This will be a last minute addition to my list for Christmas shopping! I have so many friends and family members who are fans of the show! Everybody quotes lines from it like crazy. My sister and I will even do Sofia Vergara’s “I think it was the big cupcake” line. I am always so happy whenever the show wins Emmys. Poor Julie Bowen-I hope she wins one someday!
I love the show, and this cookbook looks like a fantastic mix of Modern Family stuff, and recipes. It would also make a great Christmas present.
I don’t watch Modern Family, but I do love cookbooks. That said this would make a great gift for some of my Modern Family watching friends.
This is the perfect gift for anyone who is a fan of The Modern FamilynTV show. I love how it combines facts about the actors with recipes ,etc.
I also had no idea that the tv show Modern Family had a cookbook. I hate that the closest Barnes & Nobles to me closed down. I loved going there and looking at books. Gloria of Modern Family is Colombian like me I wonder if the cookbook has Colombian recipes as well.

Well, I am not much of a TV watcher myself, so I may have heard of this program– but have never seen it. All the same I love cookbooks, and always interested in see a new twisted to an old favorite recipe. Cookbooks always make for a wonderful gift, or at least I love getting them.
