An easy-to-make dog treat that takes only two ingredients. These dehydrated strawberry pieces are a hit with dogs and can use a variety of different powdered nut butters.
Step 1: Wash strawberries and make sure they are as clean as possible. Once you have shaken off any excess water, cut off the tops and slice them into 1/8 inch slices.
Step 2: Fill a bowl with the desired amount of peanut butter powder. Dip each side of the slice in the powder. Place each covered slice on your dehydrator tray, making sure they are not touching one another.
Step 3: Place the tray in your dehydrator, and set your dehydrator to 130 F for 8 hours.
Step 4: Place the trays on the dehydrator and put the lid on. Select 130 degrees F and 8 hours. Add extra time if your pieces are not dehydrated after that time (the size of strawberries can change dehydration times). Make sure completely cool before storing.
If your air fryer doesn’t have a dehydration function, this dehydrator is another good option!
