Do you love a good ice cream recipe? With Halloween being our next big holiday, many of us are already planning for one of the year’s most exciting holidays. In our neighborhood, many houses prepare a fun outdoor celebration, including firepits, food, and sometimes even grilling food. While the kids are playing, adults sit around and talk, getting to know their fellow neighbors while kids show off their candy loot. While many people are having hotdogs and hamburgers, why not have a delicious, sweet Halloween-themed dessert that kids will surely enjoy – like ice cream?
What’s so wonderful about this Halloween ice cream recipe is the joy it brings. It’s a delight and doesn’t require an ice cream machine! With just a few basic ingredients you likely already have and some cute, Halloween-themed sprinkles, you’re all set. And if you’re not a fan of dark chocolate, no problem! You can easily swap it out for your preferred cocoa powder. But we love a rich, chocolatey ice cream!
Want to know what is even better about this ice cream? This yummy ice cream recipe is kid-friendly, allowing you to make a fun weekend activity for the entire family. You can also change the sprinkles to make it work for any holiday. Just switch out the Halloween-themed sprinkles for red and green or even Santa-shaped ones for Christmas! The recipe is versatile, and anyone who loves chocolate will love this rich, creamy, no-churn ice cream recipe.
Honestly, the worst part of this recipe is the wait. I love that it doesn’t have the typical mess of getting out my regular ice cream maker. While I love my Cuisinart ice cream maker, sometimes it is nice to put something in the fridge and forget about it until it is ready. Just ensure you keep out of the reach of pets since dark chocolate isn’t good for cats or dogs.
