Do you love Apple Chai Bread? For many of us, nothing is better than waking up to warm, fresh dessert bread. Since I was a kid, this treat has been reserved for relaxing weekends when the adults have coffee, and the children enjoy tea or hot cocoa. Growing up, the most popular of these breads or desserts was usually a coffee cake that had a similar consistency to bread. Personally, I have always preferred nice pumpkin bread or, even better, yummy, flavorful apple chai bread.
While I found it wasn’t popular in many places, one of the local mom-and-pop coffee shops had a bread like this in my hometown. From the moment my mom tried it, she had to make it at home, and it became one of those little customs she enjoyed when we had guests. Other times, it was her favorite thing to make after we went to pick apples in autumn or if she just had too many of them in the house (we typically had apples for snacking).
Now that I’m an adult, I still enjoy some of these delightful snacks. I have tried to replicate her apple chai bread for some time. This wasn’t something she had ever written down; it was just a mix of different recipes that were put together. While it was always a work in progress, it also meant that it was something that was a constant surprise and joy. I was finally able to figure out her best version of it, creating a delicious and moist dessert bread that is perfect for enjoying all year round.
What do I like the most about this delicious recipe? The best part is that it is one of those things you can make quickly with ingredients you likely already have in your pantry. The hardest part is really cutting up apples and making sure you have vanilla pudding (it is usually something I keep in my pantry for making certain cake recipes). With only 15 minutes of total preparation time, you can have a delicious loaf of apple chai bread to serve to guests or very happy family members.
Don’t be surprised if you have problems with leftovers since this is a very addictive recipe. Ready to try it for yourself? You can find our full Apple Chai Bread recipe below!
