As a first time homeowner, I have to say this book was a lifesaver.  Glenn Revere did a fantastic job making buying carpet seem more approachable to people like my husband and myself who were planning on just dragging parents along for the road. While the book seems rather small, it is worth the investment since it is truly packed with information. This is the sort of book you don’t go shopping without, even if you have purchased carpet in past, and we highly recommend it!
