As many of you know, I am a big fan of plants and gardening. While I consider myself an amateur at both, I love growing plants and spreading the joy by giving away some of my baby plants. For the past few years, I have had a little garden outside for growing our own food and expanded a bit this year, but my true love is succulents. After going through this book, I was very impressed with the book. It has so many gorgeous terrarium setups that parents can do with their kids. The book itself is colorful, easy to read, and goes through everything parents need to succeed at creating a fun project for your kids. Is it something you can hand to children and expect them to do most of the work? Well, that depends. If you are doing this with an older child, yes. A small child, no; parents better expect to do most of the work and make it a learning experience. I walked into the experience expecting s such though, so this wasn’t an issue in my eyes. It is a great way to create something beautiful with a step by step process that the whole family can enjoy. I also love that it goes into detail about plant selection and getting your materials, something that is important for creating your first terrarium. Overall, I found this to be a fun and entertaining book for projects for the entire family.

I hope you love it! I wrote it with homeschooling in mind. I was homeschooled myself, so I know it’s a challenge to find activities that will be both fun and educational. Making terrariums is the perfect solution in my opinion, but I might be biased.
