SmartCat All Natural Litter: Our Thoughts
So what did Blaze & Demelza think of SmartCat All Natural Litter? To say that Demi is excited about SmartCat is truly an understatement. To start, she was impressed that the litter truly is 99% dust free (she has not even noticed the 1%). With Blaze being a digger, it was normal for her to spray clay litter dust everywhere, something that concerned Demelza quite a bit with Blaze’s little lungs (not to mention her own, since they share apartment space!). As a matter of fact, it is no mess at all, no matter how much she digs and plays in her litter box. It is also truly fragrance free, which made her quite happy since while Demi likes lavender and girly smells, she doesn’t always want everything to smell like it. It isn’t just fragrance free though, it truly neutralizes scents.
As long as you follow the directions, you don’t even get a whiff of the litter box, which greatly impressed her, especially since the litter box is in her bedroom. I’m very interested in this cat litter. I would love to find a truly dust free litter. It would be so much better for my cats.
Our cat spreads litter outside the box too. She kicks hard enough that his happens even after we switched to a covered and curved design box. Would also love to have something safer too.
This looks like exactly what we are looking for. I checked, and there is no where near me that sells it unfortunately. The closest place is 180 mi. from me. We need fragrance free, clay free, dust free litter as this says it is. Can’t wait to try it!
Has anyone compared it to Garfield litter? I’ve found that to be the best at clumping of any I’ve tried. And I can buy it at Kroger, while this I’d either have to order online or drive to the one store I’ve never heard of that carries it. I’d like to try it and will probably order some..

I have never tried natural cat litter, but after reading this review it sure does seem to make cleaning out the litter box a much more pleasant experience.

What a product. I love the fact that my kitty will not get sick due to chemicals in other Clump Liter. The no unnatural chemicals really makes me want to buy this.

I love the fact that this litter is made from natural products. It has far less dust than other products and it seems biodegradable.
My kitten tends to dig and litter goes everywhere. I honestly can’t say my current litter clumps very well. So this would be a great litter to try. A big plus is it’s dustfree and that’s a good thing.
I like that it is all natural and dust free. Jynx likes to dig and the dust from most litters is bad for the lungs. Nice that it is lightweight too since heavy bags of litter are a pain to carry.

We have tried a lot of litter – especially with two cats! I was told by my doctor not to change the litter box because of the dust and my bad immune system. This litter sounds incredible especially being all natural too!
I watched the trailer and the man took a clump of litter like a ball and threw it at a wall. The capture said something like can you do this with your litter? I will never know cuz I would never get a clump of their litter and throw it at one of our walls ?
This looks like one of the best natural choices out there. I would like to be using a cat litter that had less waste and dust. One that I will be on the look out for.
We long ago graduated from the clay litters to the clumping brands but even they were not dust free. A year ago we switched to a more natural brand made from ground walnut shells. It does clump, but just not enough. Plus even with the really deep litter boxes the stuff gets kicked all over. This new SmartCat litter sounds like something we’re going to have to try, as we have four cats (and six litter boxes). We’re always on the lookout for something better for our furbabies!

Oh gosh!!! I HATE cleaning the litter box. We hv 3 cats and 2 of them throw it everywhere like they r looking for China in that darn box. I try to stock up on cat litter bit the jugs and boxes r all so darn heavy. You made a lot of good points and it sounds like u know ur stuff so I’m gonna check on Amazon. For it . Ty

I always love finding better and more natural litter for my fur child! My cat LOVES to dig and toss litter when she uses the litter box, so this would be amazing! With the digging and throwing, I won’t have to deal with that litter dust or the litter flying everywhere!
Litter scatter is definitely a problem with our cats, even though we have gone to tall storage boxes to use rather than standard litter boxes.

I hadn’t known about this brand, and I am a cat lover for all natural thing cat food and litter all the time. We used to use The World’s Best Cat Litter (all natural), but it was too expensive so changed to Swheat Scoop long term which has been pretty good. I think you won us over to give this brand a try though! Thank you.
