Are you preparing for back to school? It’s hard to believe that in a week or two, my little sister will be starting her senior year of high school. I still remember my husband throwing her in the air as a toddler, so it seems hard thinking of her starting college in another year. To make her last year of high school special, we decided to try finding her some cute labels, especially since it is so hard to find anything with her name on it (not many people carry things labelled ‘Txomina’). Luckily, Mabel’s Labels asked us to review their new Mabel’s Labels Stylish Scholars Combo, perfect for teenage girls like Txo! After making her labels online, we couldn’t wait for them to arrive in the mail.

Mabel’s Labels Stylish Scholars Combo: Overall
Okay, I have to admit, I was very impressed with these labels. Not only are they durable, they are absolutely adorable. The feel of the labels themselves remind me of high quality picture paper, you know, from back in the days when we actually developed film. While we haven’t tested their durability in water (they are Txomina’s, after all), we have to say that we are quite impressed. They seem perfect for active teenagers and I feel bad I didn’t give them to her before she went off to her last summer camp before school starts. Really, I think this is a must for girls of all ages. Based on my own experience, I am delighted to give Mabel’s Labels Stylish Scholars Combo an A+ rating.

I really like the look of these labels. I just think $42 for the set is way too high. I understand you get a lot, but nowadays you can make labels yourself that can look just as good. But if you have the extra money (which I don’t) then these are very cool and any teen girl would love them.
Susan Bewley says
I think the only reason they are so high is because they are waterproof and heat proof. 🙂
Sandra Watts says
I love these. I could find so many good uses for them.

I’ve used Mabel’s Labels before and I love them. I love that you can personalize them. I put my kids first and last names plus middle initial, as they have fairly common names. They have truly come in handy with water bottles and such, as they were ALWAYS left behind!
vickie couturier says
yes i can see that my tween and teen grandkids would love these as well

These are awesome! I have an 11 year old and a 13 year old that hate to have anything labeled (but need it done for school and sports.) This would be a great compromise for us. Thanks!

My daughter, like your sister, will also be a senior in high school this year (SOB). Especially with college on the horizon, labels are desparately needed but so hard to find something appropriate for older teens. Thanks for the heads up on this product!
Jessica Menster says
These labels are very cool- what a great way to keep everything organized and tidy!

Kids go through a phase where they think it’s cool to put stickers on everything. I think I did at some point, I think around age six or seven. I don’t know what txomina is, a band or something? I’m not up on all that stuff.
Melissa S says
My son, at 11 still needs some of his items labeled. I like that these labels don’t look babyish or he would be very unwilling to let me use them.
Dorothy Hubbard says
I could see these for my grand daughter. She loves anything to do with a label.
lovely joy merced says
i love the idea of it being waterproof and heatproof
Wes says
Oh, very nice. My eldest daughter would dig these.

I love that there are finally labels for teens! Most of the ones I’ve seen are for younger kids.
Patti Hess says
I like these and I like that you have them for young kids and teens. Ever think about putting out Adult ones? Just saying!
