I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues). Right now I keep four large bowls off water in the house (two in the main bathroom and two in the kitchen) and two on the back deck (although with cold weather here I’ll be switching to my plug-in large bowl to keep the water from freezing). Oh, and my daughter does keep a small bowl in the upstairs bathroom, although it’s seldom used. My cats are indoor only and right now they tend to share the same water my dogs do. My dogs can be very slobbery drinkers and I’d love a water fountain like this I could put up on a table for the cats to use away from the dogs. My kitchen is done in blues, so this would be perfect there.

This looks like a great solution to keeping water clean and drinkable all day. If one piece or fur falls in the water bowl my cat will not drink it. Love that it is dishwasher safe.
I think both my dog and my cat would enjoy this fountain. My dog is pretty picky about his water so we have to clean his bowl several times a day. My cat LOVES to play in a stream of water from the sink so I know she’d adore this.
I would love to have this for my pets. I would like the fountain in red. Chester, the cat will only drink running water and sits in the tub until I turn the water on for him to drink–this fountain would be great for him and I could be sure he is getting plenty of water, especially when I am not home.
This is perfect for our house we have two dogs and three cats and that all like to share water dishes. That much slobber causes me to have to wash the dishes 3 times a day.
I treat my four cats and one dog like my kids so of course they get Christmas gifts too! I’m not sure who this would be for but I really think they would all end up sharing!
I like this idea a lot. The fountain will keep the water oxygenated all day and night. It will also keep any mold and fungus from growing anywhere near as fast as it does in a stagnant bowl.
This is awesome! My cat ignores her water bowl most of the time because it’s not fresh except for when I fill it in the morning and I think she deserves it as well as my big dog,I love how the water gets recirculated and stays fresh for them.

What a gorgeous design this is! My cat always drinks from the toilet if I forget and leave the lid up. Yuck! I bet she’d love the fresh water from this, and I know I’d feel better about it.

As much as my cat loves to drink out of the faucet, I imagine he’d love this. It could also help with his urinary tract issues.

This is a great item. My dog likes to drink the cold water from the toilet even know he has water in his bowl, we are always setting something on the lid to keep it shut (he can open it) this would be perfect for him. Thanks for the review.
We had a running water drinking fountain but the container that held the water cracked. It was a cheapo. This is a really nice one that my 6 kitties would enjoy.
this is such a fantastic idea. I have a cat and little dog who i have to fill the bowls at least twice a day. They are very picky about their drinking water.
This looks great I have an older fountain which just about on it’s last leg. My cat will only drink running water. If it’s just water sitting in a bowl, she will go to the sink and wait for you to turn the water on.

I have Sue Johnson is essential that they get their water every day. I think it is incredibly intelligent way so that they can get freshwater instead as the same standing Stillwater.
This is a great idea for our home. We have five cats, yes 5! And one of them drinks more than the other 4 put together. One of them always wants the water bowl refilled whenever she drinks – I think she likes that it is moving. This would provide a way to see if my theory is correct:)

This would be of great use in my home. I be out a lot and having continuous water for my dog would keep me from worrying.
the running water in this fountain is a huge plus for the indoors as every dog I’ve ever owned LOVED drinking from the hose outdoors(now they say that is not a good idea as most hoses are made from materials that you shouldn’t drink from)…so this would help to keep the pets hydrated and they’d still have the fun of drinking running water.

I learned something new by reviewing this fountain. I was not aware that a vet recommended 1 oz of water for every pound an animal weighs. That is very enlightening, and my husband and I both check the water dishes in our house several times each day to ensure the water supply is full.
I think my cats would love this. It sounds like a great alternative to standing water in a bowl.

My 5 kitties (rescues, of course!) had a little plastic fountain and they loved it- it makes drinking water more fun for them. The cheap little plastic bubbler wasn’t up to the task of keeping 5 of them satisfied… this fountain is beautiful and they would love it!
I think this is a freat idea. My dogs like running water so it would encourage them to drink more and decrease the chance of dehydration.
