Do you worry about how much water your pet drinks daily? Even if we have water available to Reya throughout the day, she sometimes doesn’t drink what is recommended for her size. Sometimes I even have to add a drop of chicken broth just to make her consider drinking. I was really getting worried until I realized that our dog LOVES running water. It doesn’t matter if it’s from the hose or the tub, this is her favorite. While this was all well and good, we don’t want to leave either of these running without supervision (never mind what it would do to our water bill)! Before you give me that look like I’m crazy for giving my dog purified water, look in your dog’s water dish. If it’s anything like our dog’s if we don’t change it for a couple hours, it is probably very gross, with dog-added food particles, hair, and saliva. With this fountain, your pet’s water is always clean and constantly moving, encouraging your dog to drink water that you know is clean. Best of all, the filters are fairly cheap and easy to change – a big plus in my eyes!
What also really impressed me with the Drinkwell Pagoda Fountain was the fact that it isn’t very loud. It is actually a bit on the quiet side. All you hear is the faint sound of running water. It isn’t like some of the human fountains out there that have very loud, annoying motors, so you don’t have to worry about your dog or cat being nervous around the fountain. The best part in my eyes, however, was that Reya LOVED the fountain. She is constantly by the fountain drinking or playing in the water. As a worried dog mom, I have to say I am relieved and happy that she loves the fountain. Based on our own experience with this fountain, I am happy to give the Drinkwell Pagoda Fountain an A+ rating!

I like that this fountain isn’t very loud and the filters aren’t very expensive 🙂 I always worry about how long my dogs’ water sits. My dogs drink more when they have fresh water so this would really help with keeping them hydrated.

My elderly neutered male cat is picky about his water and we worry about how little he drinks. He loves to paw at moving water, so he would have a blast with a fountain! We are planning to get a kitten soon, too, so this would be helpful.

This would be PERFECT for our dog! He ONLY likes to drink from a running tap so he will sit in front of the bathroom door until we turn on the tub faucet so he can get a drink!
What a great concept. I would use this for my cat…………she will not drink water out of her dish even if it is fresh. She will only drink from my kitchen faucet. She runs like a bullet to the sink when I turn my faucet on. This would solve my problem of leaving her alone and not drinking all day.

I love the way this looks! I have caught my cat drinking out of the toilet so it really made me think to get a fountain of some sort. She loves it. Mine is just a cheap plastic one. I would love to give my Persian cat this one. She would love it.

We rescued three cats. One is still a toddler, terrible two’s. But they are fussy about anything in their water. This would be the perfect solution. It would keep their water clean. I have 7 cats and one small dog sharing drinking water and I live in the very hot desert. I have one large bowl in the kitchen for them and two tubs outside. I know the cats prefer any water that is running and it is difficult to keep them from drinking from my swimming pool or decorative pond. I think the drinking pagoda would be very attractive to them to drink from.
I have 2 Huskies that would love this,my female doesn’t drink as much water as she should, most of the time she plays in it, With this Drinkwell I think it will encourage her to drink more water.My Male Husky is up in age and needs more help witheveryday things, I think this drinkwell will also be a blessing for him. I have a cat with bladder/kidney issues. He loves to drink out of the faucet, so bet a fountain would be a hit too.
I think that this is just awesome. I have a problem with my dog’s bowl wanting to grow green crap in it. Someone said to just put an old penny in it. I’ve got about $3 worth of pennies in it and it still gets green. LOL The way this circulates the water there’s no way that it could grow any kind of algae. I’d be proud to own this for my buddy, MEAT.

I love it and not only is it beneficial for the dog and cat it looks great too. My cat loves to get up in the sink and will stare at us until we turn on the water so she can get a drink. My only concern is the length of the cord and if they were to get it wet. Are there any special safety features to prevent shock?
Fresh water is so very important for your animals. I would love to get one of these for our dogs they would really love it.

The drinkwell would be perfect for my rescue kitty. Sadly she is missing part of her lip so it is hard for her to drink out of a bowl so we leave the sink dripping for her because we have found that running water is easier for her to drink.
My dog became ill from water that was not fresh. I sometimes forget to change it especially if I see some in the dish. This would be so good for us especially now that we have a second dog.
My Pom loves to drink from a brook, however, she does not drink from a bowl of water, Not sure why, but I try to keep it fresh. She waits till she is so dry that if she drinks from her bowl she coughs. I think there maybe hope with this fantastic idea. The running water maybe the reason why she drinks from a brook. I have 2 dogs and a cat that insist on drinking from the same water bowl. Even though the cat has his own water bowl, he drinks out of the dog’s bowl. You are correct in how nasty those bowls get. I wash them every day but they look like they are never cleaned. The Pagoda would be wonderful to make sure they have clean water and then the cat can have clean water also.
Even tho I live in a town my water still has iron in it, and it turns my dogs face tan. So I have been buying her Spring water by the gallon, but this would be perfect for her.

How nice this is it would be great and being sure that the water for my cats ( who are spoiled rotten) are happy with a lot of fresh water to drink instead of jumping into the bathtub and wanting me to turn on the water, which they do a lot. Very nice idea
It’s large enough for my dogs to share and has two levels to make it easier for them to share! I love how it looks great and is part of the decor, not something to tuck away.
This would be great to have to keep the water moving and clean! I have a 8 year old pomeranian who’s always getting his hair in his water because it hangs down into it and I have to change it multiple times a day, so I’d love to have this!
This seems like a durable fountain. I have a Yorkie and i’m always finding myself refilling her doggy dish. This will definitely resolve that issue and will keep her water supply fresh.

Our Sparkie would love this to drink out of. He is a male Shih Tzu and he loves drinking water, especially when we put ice cubes in his water glass that is up by the couch.

I commented recently how we’re drinking spring water (as our fridge filter is bad) and we still give her tap water. We need to change to help improve her health. She has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome as do myself and the kids. Yes, our dog has the same genetic defect that we do. She’s meant for us. 🙂

I’ve always wanted to get one of these but was unsure until I read your review. I think my 5 cats and dog would absolutely love this. Keeping them hydrated in this Florida heat is important to me and I’m sure this would help.
We have a drinkwell fountain for our cat who has had bladder stones, and it really helps him drink more, making the stones less likely (he hasn’t had any since getting the fountain). He loves it! It takes a little more cleaning than a plain bowl, but it’s totally worth it!
I love this my dog Marley would also. She is so spoiled we love her like family. She loves running water and have to keep her away from the sink. lol
I would love to have this fountain, after one of my cats passed with crystals in her urine it is very important to me to hydrate her sister Lucy.
Of course fresh water tastes better than water that just sits all day. I do think that when an animal is thirsty it’ll drink.

I too like many others who left comments have 2 cats that barely ever drink from their water bowl..even when its totally clean & fresh,they prefer the bathroom sinks & the tub. If there is a little slight drip they would rather try to get water from the faucet than their bowls…so whoever says cats or dogs are dirty animals better think again because they are quite finicky when it comes to their cleanliness, lol. If or when I can afford one of these I would love to try it because I just know they would drink & play in it for hours Im sure..:) I will share this video with all my pet loving friends Im sure theyll <3 it too!

I LOVE this idea! Years ago back when tabletop fountains were popular, I could not keep my cats out of it. They burned up more than one motor from drinking it dry! It’s about time someone built bigger ones actually made for pets!
We have 3 beautiful dogs (one is a special needs rescue), 1 stubborn old cat and now we just rescued a Cockatiel. This fountain would mean the world to me and my babies. I have been wanting a water fountain for my cats for a long time. I foster and adopt kittens and cats. Right now I have 3 cats and 2 kittens and are the keepers. I get tired of changing their water bowls all day and night, cause they like their water fresh. Afountain would be the perfect help for me.

In a house with 8 fur kids, all cats, hydration is an ongoing worry. They don’t have a strong thirst reflex. Plus I have one that lets me know she doesn’t like standing water. She pees in it :(. But running water isn’t at risk so I’m hoping we win this 🙂

If I am lucky enough to win, no more will I have to add chicken broth to Lucky Cat’s drinking water to get him to drink, nor use a medicine dropper filled with water and slowly empty it at the back of his throat. While he was a feral cat, we would see him drinking muddy water, which he must have developed a taste for. Since we brought him inside, it has been a battle getting him to drink water that had been in his bowl longer than 10 minutes.

This thing is just genius.You have no idea how many times daily I change the water in my 2 dogs water bowls.Today Rascal stepped into his bowl.Yes the entire paw.Rocco likes his handballs and squeaky toys a lot and the toys wind up in his bowls don’t ask me how 🙂

My pets’ water drinking bowl gets nasty & slimy if I don’t keep cleaning them. Both – my cat & dog drink from the same bowl (even though the cat has her own bowl). My only problem would be keeping the younger grandkids away from it.

My two amazing dogs,Toby & Willow, and I live in Southern Louisiana where the summers are dreadfully HOT. It’s so important when the dogs & I are outside playing our regular 45 min. “Fetchapaloozza” race & fetch game to keep the dogs bowls constantly filled with cool, fresh water to keep them hydrated.
We would absolutely LOVE to own one of the Drinkwell Pagoda Fountains!! Honestly, when we play now, I’m hauling 2 lrg. water bowls back & forth at least 6 times for us to get through our 45min. “Fetchapaloozza” session!

No one in our house has a ‘drinking problem’. You would think the way our cats drink they’ve just come from the desert. They love water and I’m sure Pippi, our Aussie would love this as well.
Our pets aren’t particularly picky about their water. But they do love running water and this is really attractive. So I wouldn’t mind having it out in clear view.

I am constantly worried that my cats are not drinking enough water because the water level in their bowl doesn’t decrease much during the day. A fountain like this would be great for them, especially since they seem drawn to dripping faucets.
