When my husband and I started our weight loss journey the hardest thing for both of us was forcing ourselves to drink more water. While it may not sound like a huge deal, it is when you realize our local water tastes terrible. We have lived in many places where the water was fantastic, but in Florence  we enjoy some of the worst tasting water. The only place that has worse water is our hometown. For this reason, we have invested in quite a few water filtering systems, finding out that many of them were a waste of money or didn’t last anywhere near the amount of time we hoped. Since we wanted another pitcher for our office, I was starting the long search to find another filtering system. So far, my family loves the PUR 11 Cup Pitcher. This pitcher produces amazing tasting water without the fuss or the mess that previous filters have caused in the past. Everyone in my family loves that the water tastes clean and tasteless, something that is a major accomplishment. Best of all, it fits in our fridge easily, allowing us to enjoy cold water anytime. Based on our own experience with the PUR 11 Cup Pitcher I am happy to give this product an A rating!

  2. I’ve been trying to loose weight, and also the hardest part for me is actually drinking as much as I’m supposed to. My old place had decent water, but my new place I can’t even stand the SMELL of my water, let alone the taste! So, I’ve been having to buy jugs of water until I could get something for water filtration. I DO have a sports bottle with a filter in it, but my kids drink all my water one me. ha

  10. Drinking water in a city can fill your system with toxins and it tastes terrible. With this water filter the water will taste great and you don’t have to worry about what you are drinking. My kids would actually drink water with this.

  11. I have need of this water pitcher with a filter. The reason for this is , we plan to move something this year and we’re unsure of the water quality at our new location.

  15. I think this filtering pitcher is a great product, and blue is a nice color. The pitcher looks well made and sturdy and PUR is a well known brand water filters.

  21. I absolutely love Pur water filters! After buying a 24 pack of water every 3 days or so (my family drinks A LOT of water) and spending way too much money, we finally decided we had to change something. I also couldn’t stand thinking about how ungreen it was of us. We currently have the small, 5 cup one. While it does produce amazing, crisp and clean tasting water, it’s not quite big enough. I prefer my water ice cold and we go through this 5-cup bad boy super quick! It would be really nice to have a bigger one.

  25. I have really gotten bad about drinking enough water since my city changed to from chlorine to chloromines–yuck. I would love to have better tasting water around the house, this pitcher would be great.

  29. I have well water and everyone thinks that makes the water very clean and great tasting well that isn’t true. Our water is heavy with iron I love that this filter makes the water taste great. I would love to just fill a pitcher of water rather than always buying bottled water

  30. We have well water in our house and this would be perfect for filtering the water. We use water softeners and this would help take out some of the salt added to the water.

  33. I really like that this pitcher has an easy refill compartment! I’ve had a different water filter pitcher in the past and it was a pain to refill!   35. This would be perfect for work. I appreciate filtered water but it’s a necessary at work. The water there is horrible and we’re not afforded the luxury of a water cooler. This would seriously make my life so much better 🙂

  37. I like that this filter pitcher removes 95% of Mercury and reduces chlorine from water. I drink a lot of water and this product would be convenient to filter safe drinking water.

  49. I think that the PUR Filtering Pitcher would be great to have. I used to have a PUR attached to my sink but then we got an under the sink filter installed. I’ve been buying jugs of water because I don’t like the taste now.

  51. I think it looks awesome and I would like healthier water. Last week a pipe burst on the street and our water was shut off for a day until they fixed it. Now it looks cloudy and I am scared to drink it.
