Has the weather been crazy where you live this year? For those of us in Kentucky, it has been a wild year. We were still having freezing temperatures in the beginning of May, making things a bit tricky for those of us who wanted to spend time outdoors and possibly plant a garden. Now that it’s warm outside and the weather is more reasonable, we have been spending more time outdoors. My big hope is that we can go to a local farm soon, pick berries, and then have a small picnic outside. Along with our dog, I bet it would be a blast! The only problem is that I don’t want to have a typical, boring picnic with peanut butter (almond butter for me) sandwiches and soda.
Now with picnic time upon us, I have been in search of amazing picnic recipes. Knowing that many of you love a good recipe as well, I thought I would share some of the super easy picnic recipes shared with me or that I found online. With these 55 delicious recipes, we can almost guarantee you will have the perfect picnic. At least food wise, we obviously can’t guarantee anything involving pet or child’s behavior, but you can at least try to have the perfect picnic this coming weekend!

I keep seeing all kinds of pasta and potato salad recipes with ingredients that aren’t traditional. I like good old fashioned potato salad with mayo and skinless fried chicken for a picnic. I know people are trying to eat healthier now. But, for a picnic, I’ll stick with foods that I grew up eating.

Some of those are good no bake sides to take along.Especially because they don’t need to be kept cool. For me, I like to throw some hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill.Simple stuff.
