How many of you are spending more time outdoors playing with your dogs? For our malamutes, nothing is more fun than running around the yard, especially after being cooped up all day. While the girls enjoy the summer weather, the summer heat can be a concern to everyone, making it important that everyone has a chance to cool off. While Ivi especially loves playing in water, sometimes I think they need a little more to cool them off, including doggy ice cream or other fun frozen treats. The problem, however, is that many of the treats designed for pets are rather expensive, leading to us looking for ways to make them at home.
Since I had never made frozen treats for the dogs, we decided to start looking for some of the best frozen dog treat recipes out there. After a bit of searching, we found 15 recipes that are not only easy to make, but dog approved! Best of all, some of them are fun and unique too, allowing you to experiment and have fun making treats that even the pickiest of dogs will love! Feel free to check out the recipes below and tell us which you think your dog will love!
